Eminem released a music video for his "Guts Over Fear" single featuring Sia, and the clip is a gritty underdog tale that meshes perfectly with Shady's rhymes. The video was directed by Syndrome, who also worked with the rapper on "Berzerk" and "3 a.m.," Consequence of Sound notes. "Guts Over Fear" is off of Em's new compilation Shady XV, out today (Nov. 24).

"And I don't wanna seem ungrateful or disrespect the artform I was raised upon / But sometimes you gotta take a loss," Em raps over boxing visuals. "And have people rub it in your face before you get made pissed off / And keep pluggin', it's your only outlet / And your only outfit so you know they gonna talk about it." Sia takes over for the chorus, which has been Rihanna's wheelhouse previously, right as things get complicated for the video's hero.

The story being told is definitely one close to Em. There's a dysfunctional family dynamic, a double dose of coming from nothing, and the internal/external fights that lead one to greatness. Check it out below.

Shady XV is a celebration of 15 years of Em's record label. The rapper's greatest hits occupy the first disc while artists like Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf and and D12 bring new music to the second disc. Em dropped a 66-track mixtape in advance of the compilation's release as well.

Em's last release, 2013's The Marshal Mathers LP 2, dominated the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums charts. Rolling Stone gave it four out of five stars.

"Nostalgia is everywhere. Em surrounds himself in allusions to classic hip-hop, like the Beastie Boys samples producer Rick Rubin laces together on 'Berzerk,'" the review reads. "It's telling that the only guest MC is Kendrick Lamar on 'Love Game,' probably because his slippery syllable-juggling owes a lot to Eminem."
