Houston rapper Riff Raff has shared an upbeat new track titled “Yesterday” under the name Jody Highroller, featuring guest verses from Snoop Dogg and Collie Buddz, which you can check out below. Riff Raff himself doesn’t do much rapping, but rather sings over the Cataracs’ light, reggae-influenced beat, including the hook, and he does a pretty nice job with it.

Riff Raff’s most recent album Neon Icon was released back in June. The album was the 32-year-old rapper’s second overall, following 2012’s The Golden Alien. Two singles were released from Neon Icon: “How to Be the Man” and “Tip Toe Wing in my Jawwdinz.”

“Yesterday” isn’t the first time that Snoop Dogg has delved into reggae, of course. The rapper’s most recent studio album Reincarnated was a reggae album released under the name “Snoop Lion” back in April 2013. It was his 12th studio album overall, and spawned four singles: “Here Comes the King” featuring Angela Hunte, “Lighters Up” featuring Mavado and Popcaan, “No Guns Allowed” featuring Drake and Cori B, and “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks” featuring Miley Cyrus.
