Pharrell Williams will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next month, Variety reports. The mega-producer and "Happy" singer will be the 2,537th celebrity to be honored with a star. He is joined by a 2015 musical class that features Kool & The Gang, Pitbull and Al Schmitt. The star will be unveiled Thursday (December 4).

Snoop Dogg confirmed in September that he and Pharrell have been working on an album together.

"It's a great record me and Pharrell did from top to bottom. It feels good and I'm happy to be back in the studio working with one of my favorite producers and homeboys," Snoop told MTV News at the BET Hip Hop Awards. "It's different — it's completely different than anything we've ever done. It feels good, sounds good, looks good."

The Walk of Fame selection committee announced the huge class that includes actors of both stage and screen as well as producers and singers in June. "We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year," Walk of Fame Chairwoman Maureen Schultz said in a statement.

Notable actors to receive the prestigious honor include Will Ferrell, Jennifer Garner, Daniel Radcliffe, Christoph Waltz, Jim Parsons, Amy Poehler, Sofia Vergara, Chris O'Donnell, Melissa McCarthy and Julianna Margulies. The Simpsons producer James L. Brooks, Family Guy mastermind Seth MacFarlane, talk show host Kelly Ripa, radio personality Larry Elder, and cartoon dog Snoopy will all be getting a star as well.

Tupac Shakur and Katy Perry led the musical class for 2014, and John Denver received the 2,531st star last month.
