We have another Prince sighting. Sunday night, Nov. 30, Prince randomly decided to crash a jazz band's performance of "With a Little Help from My Friends." According to Spin, Prince was a guest at the W Hollywood Hotel's jazz night Sunday when he decided to come down from his viewing position to sit in with the band to play The Beatles standard "With a Little Help from My Friends."

Prince, with his impossible coolness, took the performance from being a good one, to being something many of those in attendance will not be forgetting for a long time. Nobody seemed to mind at all and the band appeared to be quite happy with the situation, because normally unsolicited sit-ins are not accepted.

It is cool to see a rock star who does not think they are above musicians who are not at their level of fame or have the same talent as them and are willing to spontaneously do creative things with those other artists.

Prince has been reinforcing his cool and mysterious demeanor lately with a series of appearances and disappearances from various platforms. He played an eight-minute jam on Saturday Night Live of new tracks "Clouds," "Marz" and "Anotherlove." He has been sparsely active on social media, first trying out Facebook with a Q&A, where he answered one question and, after receiving hundreds of them, quit and did not come back for some time. He partook in the social media game for a time, even taking his first selfie in classic Prince style with a DSLR camera, but subsequently deleted all accounts about a week ago.

Jazz bands in the United States, if Prince is in town, keep an extra guitar lying around because Prince may just want to sit in with you for a tune.

Thankfully and not surprisingly, someone recorded the event on his or her phone for posterity. Enjoy the moment in all its glory below:
