Jessie J doesn't need Ariana Grande or Nicki Minaj to perform her 2014 mega-hit "Bang Bang." But, she can always use a little assistance from someone, and last night (Dec. 3), the pop diva teamed up with Demi Lovato in San Jose, California, to perform the track.

Wearing a "San Fran 03" jersey and little else, J was all power in her live rendition of "Bang Bang," breezing through her hit solo for the first verse and chorus. But, when the time rolled around for Grande's portion of the track, she announced her special guest: Demi Lovato.

Taking Grande's breathy vocals and making them all her own, Lovato actually matched J's volume and power as she sang "Bang Bang" - that is, if you can even hear her over the excited screams of the California crowd.

Lovato not only pulled out the stops for the verse, but she also decorated the choruses with the expected runs that normally go to Grande, in her very own way, of course.

Oh, and neither girl nor another surprise guest even tried to tackle Nicki Minaj's verse. The duo instead opted to dance around stage while the pre-recorded track played in the background.

After the show, the love between Lovato and J was rampant, with the two spreading a little friendliness on Instagram.
