Well, when it was announced that Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj had teamed up for a single, "Bang Bang" together, it was assumed that it would be a smash. Today (July 28) one day before it was set to be released, the trio's collaborative effort leaked online, and it's the exact explosive pop jammer you expected.
After Instagram teasers from J, Minaj and Grande, "Bang Bang" arrived in full on the Internet this afternoon and it's going to be huge.
Right out of the gate, J dives right into "Bang Bang" with powerhouse vocals and sass for days. "You say she's got a body like an hourglass / But I can give it to you anytime / Sure she's got a booty like a Cadillac / But I can send you into overdrive," she blasts.
Grande keeps a similar sass in her verse, claiming she won't just hold your hand in the schoolyard, she'll "show you how to graduate." And as teased, Minaj is all power in here verse, defending herself and her sisters against any and all haters.
As for the chorus, J and Grande take the reins on the vocal duties, bringing in a sample of the classic Wham track "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" and plenty of energy.
Seriously, this song is going straight to the top of the charts.

"Bang Bang" is a new song from J, Grande and Minaj. The track is confirmed to appear on Grande's new album My Everything, due out Aug. 25. The track is also rumored to appear on the U.S. version of J's 2013 album Alive and could even crossover to Minaj's 2014 effort The Pinkprint.
The song will officially be released on Tuesday, July 29.
