It seems like Hillary Clinton might be the only one left that isn't sure if she intends to announce a 2016 presidential campaign, but if that is on her to-do list, then the fact that she supports the U.S. Department of Justice looking into the untimely deaths of two black men at the hands of white police officers is sure to get some backing. Clinton spoke at the Massachusetts Conference for Women today and expressed her dismay at there being no indictment against police officers who ultimately killed Eric Garner and Michael Brown while in the line of duty. She was quoted as calling the system "out of balance."

Last week, the nation watched as protests lead to riots and destruction in Ferguson, Missouri and now New York City is erupting as more details come out in the chokehold death of Garner. Clinton didn't hold back when asked about her stance on neither Darren Wilson or Daniel Pantaleo being indicted on any criminal charges.

"Our hearts are breaking, and we are asking ourselves: 'Aren't these our sons, aren't these our brothers?' I'm very pleased the Department of Justice will be investigating what happened in Ferguson, what happened in Staten Island. Those families, those communities, and the country, deserve a full and fair accounting as well as whatever substantive reforms are necessary to ensure equality, justice and respect for every citizen Despite all the progress that we have made together, African-Americans, particularly African-American men, are still more likely to be stopped and searched by police, charged with a crime, and serve longer prison terms. I personally hope these tragedies give us an opportunity to come together to find balance again," said Clinton earlier today.

Do you think that the fact that Clinton has kind of come out swinging and is reacting a bit emotionally will actually help her if she does intend to announce a presidential bid? Is it a comfort to see a political figure that seems to be in line with much of the general public? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
