It seems like not a day goes by when we aren't hearing some new nugget about the ongoing accusations of sexual misconduct against Bill Cosby. Just yesterday, we learned that Judy Huth, the woman who alleges that Cosby molested her when she was only 15 years old back in 1974, actually went and filed a police report. While the statute of limitations in her case may ultimately be up, what this does is open the door for a full investigation, something that the LAPD is ready to do, hopefully starting with some help from Hugh Hefner.

According to Huth, the assault took place at the Playboy Mansion and according to a report by TMZ, the LAPD are really hoping that some member of Hefner's staff will be able to confirm some part of Huth's story. The problem is that it allegedly occurred 40 years ago, so finding anything at all that could link Cosby to a particular evening on Hef's property could be tricky, plus they were great friends back then so some have questioned if the mogul will protect him regardless of the facts.

While the media has gone crazy, jumping on over two dozen allegations that are, for the most part, decades old, no one knows how many more women might have a story to tell. That is truly what the LAPD is interested in -- finding newer possible victims that are still able to prosecute within the statute of limitations. If Cosby really did manage to silence potential victims for decades, then at what point did his violence against women end, or has it yet? That is what the LAPD really needs to investigate but to be able to do so, they first need a solid starting place with Huth's story.

While more women were talking to the press, Cosby's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was vandalized overnight. Someone scrawled the word "rapist" across his star and while it has since been removed, just like in all of these cases, it seems that the damage is already done.
