Joey Bada$$ is mourning the loss of a collaborator and, more importantly, a cousin. with the recent passing of Pro Era's Junior B. Bada$$, aka Jo-Vaughn Scott, took to Twitter and Instagram yesterday (Dec. 6) to pay tribute to his fallen family member and let the world know what the rapper had meant to him. Scott also canceled his European tour following the news of his cousin's passing, MTV News reports.

"Today we lost a solider. But I know you'll be forever watching over," Scott wrote on Instagram along with a picture of B. "Rest in Peace to my big cuz/pro/brother/manager/guardian/angel. No one will ever take your place and I promise we gonna keep pushing way stronger in honor of you. No one will ever understand how much of a selfless and loyal person you was. In this last year I don't know what I would of done without you.."

There hasn't been much information on the cause of B's death, but according to tweets by friends, he had been hospitalized prior to his passing. On Nov. 28, Scott posted a message to Instagram saying that his cousin had suffered third degree burns.

Scott apologized to his European fans for canceling, saying he couldn't find the strength to perform.
