Back in October, Tyga took to Twitter and aired out his differences with YMCMB, but it looks like the Los Angeles-based rapper did not get everything off his chest. During a recent interview, Tyga revisited his beef with the label, saying the hold-up of his album is "not fair to the fans."

Alongside Chris Brown, Tyga sat down with Power 106 and dished on his current label situation. He solidified his plans to release the album independently, as mentioned on social media.

"The album is done, so like I'm going to put it out independently, I'm just getting out [of] my deal right now," Tyga said. "I feel like as an artist what we do creatively should never be imprisoned and at the end of the day we do it to bring it to the fans. It's not a selfish thing it's just not fair to the fans. You've got millions of people who want your music and they don't understand the behind-the-scenes politics."

And Tyga is not just planning on putting the album out independently — he is looking to do things on his own from now on.

"I'm dropping regardless. I'm paying for my own videos and everything so I ain't waiting on nobody," he said. "Everything come to the light so you got to treat people the way you want to be treated at the end of the day."

Last month, Chris Brown and Trey Songz announced their highly anticipated Between the Sheets tour and revealed Tyga would be coming along as a special guest. The two heartthrobs will kick off their 25-date trek Jan. 28 in Brown and Songz's home state of Virginia, as noted by Miss Info. The tour will also make stops in New York City, Atlanta, New Orleans, Dallas, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
