The three remaining members of Led Zeppelin may never reunite. Fans of the band have probably accepted that fact even though stories have surfaced saying that deals are in the works (and then they've turned out to be false). The main issue is between Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. Page is for a reunion, Plant is against one. John Paul Jones probably doesn't care anymore. So the possibility of the band playing some shows with another lead singer exists, right? Enter Heart's Ann Wilson.

Now, the situation of Wilson fronting Led Zep that was brought on by Classic Rock Revisited may be hypothetical, but it's a valid thought. When the members of the iconic band -- minus drummer John Bonham, who died in 1980 -- were invited to the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012, it was Wilson and sister, Nancy, who took on their beloved tune, "Stairway to Heaven." It was fabulous.

"When we were done, we walked backstage and there was a feeling of awe," she said. "We were like, 'What just happened?' We weren't nervous when we were doing it, but afterwards our nervous system came back to life and it all kicked in."

If she ever received a call to step in, she certainly would. Big surprise.

"I don't know. Hypothetically, if they ever needed a lead singer and Heart was not active at the moment, then, sure, I would," Wilson added. "I would go and play with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones any day of the week."

That would seem like sacrilege to some devout fans, but Page tried something like it once before. The group reunited in 2007 for a few shows, and after Plant called it quits, Page and Jones began jamming with the likes of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Myles Kennedy, who is now Slash's frontman.

"Believe me... those rehearsals I will remember to my dying day," Kennedy said.
