Fall Out Boy channeled two classic, creepy films for the title of its new album American Beauty/American Psycho and now the album's latest single (and title track) is getting a fittingly haunting and cinematic music video. Yesterday (Dec. 15) alongside the detailing of its upcoming release, Fall Out Boy released its latest music video for "American Beauty/American Psycho."

The catchy, thrashing rock anthem's official visual stars the same young man who is featured on the album's cover. Wearing a black American flag painted on his face, the boy ventures into an abandoned, creepy warehouse. There, he spots a graceful ballerina, donning a black tutu, dancing for a crowd of muscled, intimidating men.

As images of a snarling, ravenous dog flash on the screen, the strong men take their turns throwing punches at the woman. Instead of fielding the punches and kicks herself, in some sort of Fight Club-esque twist, the boy is the one feeling the hits.

In movements and moments of total grace, the woman eventually takes on her audience, kicking and rendering them useless with her twirls.

It... doesn't make a lot of sense, at least yet. But, in a cliffhanger ending, another shadowy figure appears... So, this is probably not the last we'll see of these characters.
