As it turns out, Amy Adams is a Directioner. This Saturday (Dec. 20), the star of Big Eyes is teaming up with One Direction to host the Christmas episode of Saturday Night Live, and just like the "Night Changes" band's fans all around the world, Adams is freaking out just a little bit.

In new SNL promos, Adams and SNL castmember Taran Killam

"I'm sorry if I seem a little sour. I auditioned for One Direction and did not get in," Killam deadpans, before he reveals that he doesn't sing, per se, but plays French horn. Badly.

The pther 1D related moment for Adams and Killam featured the actress behaving like, well, a little girl at a One Direction concert. When they announce who exactly the musical guest will be, Adams loses all semblance of composure.

"Their fans are crazy," Killam says, to which Adams agrees, before losing her own mind. "LOUIS IS GOING TO BE HERE!" she screams before throwing around some Christmas presents, and thrashing about with excitement. It is One Direction after all, not a band to be messed around with.
