Nicki Minaj took a different approach for three of her singles from The Pinkprint. The rapper merged "The Crying Game," "I Lied" and "Grand Piano" into a three-part mini film. Minaj plays the protagonist who is in a failing relationship and the three tracks set the tone for the entire video. While it's not autobiographical, the relationship seems to mirror what's going on in Minaj's personal life.

The rapper came up with the concept for the film herself, Rolling Stone notes. Now if Minaj is trying to air her dirty laundry in the video, then it appears that Safaree Samuels cheated on her. That's what TMZ suggests anyway. There's definitely a lot of Minaj's life in the mini movie -- getting over a 12-year relationship isn't easy. Check out the lengthy clip and see for yourself.

Minaj has been talking about her personal life in the media recently, telling Ryan Seacrest that she is, in fact, single and not dating Meek Mill. She also got emotional during a chat with Power 105.1.

"This is somebody I grew up with. Like, I don't even know how I'm going to function without that person in my life. I never lived my life as a famous person without him. I don't think people realize it's not just a breakup, that was a humongous part of my life," Minaj said.

Samuels addressed the breakup a few times via Twitter.
