One Direction may not be coming to your town until 2015, but Santa Claus' worldwide tour is later this week (Dec. 25). To help make Directioners and fans of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon aware that Santa is, in fact, coming to town, the "Night Changes" band teamed up with Fallon and The Roots last night (Dec. 22) to play, you guessed it, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on classroom instruments.

Wearing Christmas sweaters that celebrate Ireland (Niall Horan), a tinsel Christmas tree (Harry Styles), the letter "e" (Zayn Malik), Santa himself (Liam Payne) and a playing card (Louis Tomlinson), the boys of 1D got very festive, all while playing kazoos, drums and even coconut shells.

The lyrics even got a little twist to help celebrate the boy band with it now being "a rooty-toot-toot and One Direction," just to drive the whole point home.

One Direction made its appearance on The Tonight Show last night to promote its upcoming NBC concert special, One Direction: The Special, which will air tonight (Dec. 23) at 8 p.m.

The one-off concert film will be not unlike the band's 2014 movie, One Direction: Where We Are, featuring live footage and behind-the-scenes action from the biggest boy band around.
