Dance music in California is generally concentrated in Los Angeles and the Bay Area as a result of Insomniac Events and the historic music venues and strong scenes that exist there. San Diego has been growing rapidly in the past four or five years with the help LED Presents who recently partnered with Coachella promoter Goldenvoice to help them throw their parties like LED Presents and Splash House. Goldenvoice has teamed up with California dance music promoter FNGRS CRSSD to throw a new festival, CRSSD Festival. The festival has announced the full lineup of artists that will arrive perform at San Diego's Waterfront Park this spring including Empire Of The Sun, Odesza, Flight Facilities, Chromeo and many more via a press release.

Since the festival is in San Diego where it is usually sunny and warm, it can happen during the spring. CRSSD will take place over two days on March 14 and March 15. The talent will be spread out over three different stages during the three days, each having a slightly different sound and flavor.

Ocean View Line will feature Empire Of The Sun, Chromeo, Odesza, Flight Facilities, Hot Natured, Goldroom and others, while City View will have Maceo Plex, Lee Burridge, Sander Kleinenberg, Justin Martin and others perform. The palms will feature the most interesting lineup because there will be some back to back sets from Bixel Boys and Viceroy and Simian Mobile Disco and Roman Flügel, while also featuring new super group Pleasure State, comprised of MK, Lee Foss and singer Anabel Englund.

The lineup is stacked with artists in house, disco and techno both established and up and coming. San Diego is going to be a hot spot to be in March. Tickets go on sale Jan. 2 on the CRSSD festival website.

The festival will be 21+.
