Justin Timberlake kicked off his 20/20 Experience World Tour on Wednesday night in Brooklyn, New York, and did so with a little '90s flare. No, there wasn't another *NSYNC reunion nor did he reunite with Ryan Gosling and Britney Spears for a Mickey Mouse Club song. Instead, Timberlake went for some smooth old school R&B, covering Bell Biv DeVoe's groundbreaking hit "Poison."

Backed by two members of his Tennessee Kids, who also gave highly impressive vocal performances, the trio performed a spot-on rendition of "Poison," choosing to leave the classic arrangement of the song untouched and incorporating the hard hitting beats and smooth brass backing into their own routine.

And, no '90s cover would be complete without a dance breakdown in the middle Proving he's still got his dancing shoes from his *NSYNC days, Timberlake and his two backup singers performed a short, choreographed routine full of shuffled feet and fancy twirls.

The "Poison" cover was a clearly a crowd favorite. From a short video clip, loud cheers can be heard throughout the Barclays Center and at one point, Timberlake turns the microphone on the crowd and the volume nearly outdoes the music.

The Brooklyn show was just the first of many as a part of Timberlake's worldwide The 20/2o Experience Tour. After a stop in Hartford, Connecticut, last night, the shows will resume on Nov. 9 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with opening act The Weeknd.
