There's nothing like a solid acoustic rendition of a pop song to get you through the day. Ariana Grande and The Weeknd got together recently to strip down their duet, "Love Me Harder," from the former's My Everything album. Accompanied only by a guitar, the pair's vocals shine on this intimate version.

Grande sits on top of some amps opposite of a standing Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, as she sings about the need for a better love. Both vocalists are top-notch in the video below, via MTV News. Grande shows off a sultry, soulful side while The Weeknd leans in with smooth confidence. And props to the mystery guitarist. He does just fine as well.

My Everything dropped in August and has become one of the biggest albums of 2014. It hit number one on the Billboard 200 and has been certified platinum. Iggy Azalea, Big Sean and Chilidish Gambino all appear on the album.

"The hyperactive hummingbird-in-a-miniskirt energy of her voice makes sense, because she's usually singing about how all these boys, boys, boys are driving her out of her wits. Grande doesn't have much interest in wuss ballads where she plays the victim - she's an I'm-so-moving-on type, which is what gives her voice its emotional kick," Rolling Stone wrote.

Grande won the Rising Star award recently at the Billboard Women in Music ceremony and is nominated for two Grammys.

The songstress is currently romantically involved with Big Sean.

"He is one of the most amazing men in the whole world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother," she said. "I think the world of him, and he's an amazing person. That's kind of all there is to it."
