Word started to circulate recently that Master P and Lil Wayne had made amends and were collaborating on a new song, titled "Power". On Jan. 3, a snippet of the song appeared online with Master P rapping over a booming instrumental. He introduced the song pronouncing, "This is 'Power.' You want that money, you gotta go out and work for it. Me and Lil Wayne about to go crazy. It's about to be a magical 2015." The full version has now appeared online, premiered on Pigeons and Planes with Master P, Lil Wayne, Gangsta and Ace B.

The track will be featured on his new album We All We Got, slated for release on Jan. 5 with his new crew, Money Mafia. If there is someone who knows how to market an album, it is Master P, who has become one of hip-hop's wealthiest moguls through his innovative marketing techniques. Watch for what he comes up with this time.

The track could be a peace offering between Master P and Cash Money who famously beefed in the 1990s. Birdman and Master P had their differences over who came up with the term "bout it." As a result, many rappers including Juvenile, Mystikal and B.G. all recorded rap disses aimed at the opposing camp. The other move for this collaboration could be for Master P to continue getting back at Birdman by attempting to sow further discord in the YMCMB camp and get Lil Wayne to leave with the help of Master P.

Lil Wayne has been embroiled in a long battle with his Birdman and his label, YMCMB and has said publically on several occasions.  It is good to see Lil Wayne still has music being released despite all of the delays with his album.
