When Kate Hudson officially split from Matt Bellamy a few months ago we have to wonder if she was actually anticipating a future with Derek Hough. The two started hanging out about 18 months ago and were said to be pretty inseparable, although supposedly no lines were crossed until Hudson officially ended things with Bellamy. Whatever is going on between them now, it's not exclusive, but did Hudson know that?
Last week, Hough was photographed getting pretty handy with IMG model Dana Taylor. The two were spotted together having fun on the beach in St. Barts and then, according to Page Six, they also were knee-deep in conversation elsewhere. Hudson is said to have spent a big chunk of the holidays with her kids and Bellamy in Aspen. While they looked comfortable that doesn't necessarily mean that a reconciliation is happening. They have reportedly have managed to remain friends and are united in co-parenting.
But what about Taylor? How serious do you think that things actually are between her and Hough? He seems to be a serial rebound guy, doesn't he? Women like Lauren Conrad and Nina Dobrev have all briefly been spotted with him after ending long term relationships. In all of the years that we have known him from Dancing With the Stars, Hough has never been in a real relationship. He's just not that guy, but is Hudson okay with that?
