There has been a lot of buzz about Rihanna and a mysterious eighth studio album for 2015, which many fans and the "Stay" songstress have dubbed "R8," and now there's another big clue that an LP is going to drop this year. Following the leak of an alleged Rihanna single "World Peace" last week, today (Jan. 5), RiRi posted an ominous Instagram image indicating that she'll be birthing a new album in 2015.

The image in question follows a series of booby pictures on Rihanna's recently reinstated Instagram page. It features a familiar cartoon to the Rihanna Navy, a straight-faced, black marker drawing of a woman who is none-too pleased. This new stick figure drawing celebrates the New Year and also promises something new.

There's the standard New Year's decorations surrounding the stick Rihanna. Fancy nails, plenty of gold and some bubbly champagne. But, wait, what's that hanging from Rihanna's neck and dangling at the end of "Happy New Year?" an "R8" necklace?

Indeed. Rihanna's straight-faced drawing is all about the "R8" here, once again promising new music in the new year.

The Instagram drawing is just the latest little nod and teasing for Rihanna's eighth studio album, which is likely due out this year. In November, Rihanna posted a snippet of a new song, "Kiss It Better" on Instagram and just a few days ago, a reported Rihanna song "World Peace" leaked online.

It's clear that fans are hungry for some new Rihanna music. Her last album, Unapologetic was released in November 2012, marking the length between her seventh and eighth effort as the longest between any Rihanna project.

No concrete details surrounding "R8" have been revealed.
