Hard Events' Holy Ship! has become one dance music's premiere destinations for fans who want to party out at sea with their favorite DJs. Entering its fourth year, the dance cruise just completed its first journey from Miami with Djs like A-Trak, Pretty Lights, Laidback Luke, Flume, Duke Dumont, RL Grime, Gorgon City and others were brought along for the four-day voyage. 2015 saw the cruise expand to two seafaring expeditions out of Miami, but according to an interview by Revolt with Gary Richards, the founder of Hard Events, which hosts Holy Ship!, the promoter has their sites on another market, Europe, specifically the Mediterranean.

Richards broke the news saying, "We haven't announced it, but we're working on getting the logistics together to have a third ship go out there." He makes the point that it would be similar to what they have going in North America, but would try and book more European DJs, something they can't do now with conflicting tour schedules. He adds that Holy Ship! would "Take into consideration the part of the world that we're in and the time of year."

Holy Ship!'s inaugural voyage took place in 2012 with artists like Fatboy Slim, Skrillex, Diplo, Gesaffelstein, Zedd, Danny Brown and many others. It sparked a buzz around the cruise that has not stopped where cabins sell out almost instantaneously and most customers are repeat members of the "shipfam."

The 4-day cruise sets sail from Miami and voyages around the Bahamas, where it stops on a private island for a day, while also spending plenty of time at sea with DJ sets lasting early into the morning.

The cruise expanded to two voyages in 2015, launching from Miami this past weekend between Jan. 3 and Jan. 6 and then in February between Feb. 18 and Feb 21. No additional details on if the ship would sail this year, or the next, but presumably it would be over the summer.
