Weezy fans, Lil Wayne has some great news for you. The "Start A Fire" rapper has revealed the release date for his upcoming mixtape Sorry For The Wait 2. Regardless of what the Green Bay Packers do this weekend, win or lose presumably, S4TW2 will be released this Tuesday, Jan. 21. He made the announcement with a video previewing a remix of ILoveMakonnen's tune "Maneuvering" via Complex.

Lil Wayne has already released one track from the mixtape, a remix of Future's single "S--t." He took the opportunity to address his still ongoing issues between himself and Birdman in the song, saying: "Did my time in Cash Money, time served and released/But this agent ain't free, word, that's the word on these streets"

S4TW2 is being released in lieu of his long-anticipated album Tha Carter V, which has been delayed indefinitely during a very public feud between Wayne and Cash Money Records, headed by Birdman. Despite the circumstances surrounding the album and the drama that clouds it, Wayne has still been hard at work recording, as evidenced by the impending mixtape release.

Not too long ago, he was seen in the studio with Atlanta trio, Migos, though it is not clear if anything came of that.

This is unfortunately the second installment of his Sorry For The Wait mixtape series. It has become a sad occurrence in Weezy's career of late for his albums to become delayed due to label grievances, forcing him to release more music to keep fans happy in the interim.

Lil Wayne's manager, Cortez Bryant, recently made the comment that Wayne did not deserve the treatment that he is getting at the moment and that he has carried Cash Money for the past 10 years. Regardless of what is going on behind the scenes, fans just want to see Weezy's music hit stores and the mixtape is a good first step.
