Nicki Minaj just got signed to do one of her most interesting gigs in 2015. She will be headlining ESPN's X Games this June in Austin, Texas. Talib Kweli, Pennywise and Deltron 3030 will join The Pinkprint singer on the smaller South Factory stage, where the acts will perform. The "Anaconda" singer said in a statement to The Wrap, "I look forward to channeling the energy and spirit from the X Games into a performance Austin will not forget."

The X Games made the announcement on Twitter:

X Games Vice President Tim Reed spoke of having Minaj headline in Austin.

"Having Nicki Minaj headline one of the nights of X Games Austin is going to be really fun," said Reed. "We still have other headliners to announce in the upcoming months, but the mix of Nicki Minaj with world-class athletes will make for a must-attend event in Austin."

The event will take place June 4 to 7 at the 1,500-acre Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on the new Super Stage.

The annual extreme sports event moved from its home in Los Angeles to Austin last year with performances from Kanye West, The Flaming Lips, Pretty Lights, Dillon Francis and Gary Clark Jr. It features displays of athleticism and insanity bravery in events like Moto X, skateboarding, BMX and others.

Tickets go on sale for the event Friday, Jan. 23, at 4 p.m. CT on the X Games website.

The X Games circuit starts the year tomorrow, Jan. 22, with the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado, which will feature your gauntlet of skiing and snowboarding from some of the biggest winter-sport athletes in the world.
