There are two things about Kelly Clarkson that are certain. One: she's a damn good live performer. Two: her new holiday album Wrapped in Red and it's lead single "Underneath The Tree" are instant Christmas classics. Today (Dec. 3), the two things have been combined for the official "Underneath The Tree" music video, which premiered on VEVO this afternoon.
The video, which was taken from Clarkson's upcoming holiday special Kelly Clarkson's (Cautionary) Christmas Tale, features a stunning live performance from the American Idol alumna.
Rocking a nude and sparkly red gown, Clarkson sways her hips and is all smiles as she sings about finding a Christmas love that is all her own. In between footage of the live concert, behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming special is interspersed.
Of course, there are scenes of makeup chairs and Clarkson getting her laugh on, but the clip also includes quite a few celebrity cameos. Trisha Yearwood, Jai Rodriguez and more can be seen in the four-minute video. However, country star Blake Shelton steals the spotlight dressed all up like an elf.
