Atlanta rapper iLoveMakonnen has shared a remix of his song "21st Street" featuring a new verse from Snoop Dogg, which you can check out below. The song originally appeared on Makonnen's 2014 mixtape Drink More Water 3, and again on Drink More Water 4, and according to XXL, this new remix was promised last year, when Makonnen shared its artwork (seen up above) through his Twitter account. The track features some pretty solid atmospheric production courtesy of DJ Spinz and Dun Deal, but Snoop is the real star here, delivering his verse with the same type of precise yet still relaxed flow that he's famous for.

iLoveMakonnen's most recent release was his self-titled EP, which spawned his hit single "Tuesday" featuring Drake and was released back in June. His most recent mixtape, Drink More Water 4, was released back in May 2014, and was Makonnen's fourth mixtape release overall, his second of 2014. His next mixtape, Drink More Water 5, is currently in the works and set for release at some point this year, but has yet to be given an exact release date.

"There's a lot of artists in Atlanta," Makonnen told Pitchfork about the environment he came up in, "but so many end up doing the same thing that last year's artists did. So it gets annoying for the producers, because they like to work and be creative, and they don't want to make the same song over and over. So when they met me, I was doing something different. It was my style mixing with their style to make a new style."
