Suge Knight, former CEO of Death Row Records, reportedly ran over a man with his car on the set of a movie he was working on in Compton, California. The victim died shortly after Knight fled the scene of the crime. According to TMZ Knight was denied access to the set of a film Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were working on, possibly the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, which is listed as being in post-production on IMDb. Knight's lawyer is trying to arrange the CEO's surrender.

Sources close to Ice Cube said that production for the day had wrapped and both artists were not on site when the altercation occured. Knight got into a fight with two people before getting into his vehicle and allegedly backing into the victim. It's unclear whether the victim was involved with the movie or even the argument. He has been identified as Terry Carter, a friend of Knight's who arrived with the Death Row head and was walking to the passenger side of the car when the accident happened.

Two other men were also hit in the process. Their injuries are not life-threatening, and it's unclear if they were involved in the altercation.

TMZ sources said that the two men involved in the fight were the instigators and Knight felt threatened because of his poor state of health. He was shot six times back in August at a party hosted by Chris Brown and, more recently, had some problems with a blood clot.

Law enforcement in the area consider Knight armed and dangerous.

Knight pled not guilty in December to an ongoing legal issue involving a stolen camera.
