Music fans at the Jack White/Run The Jewels Madison Square Garden gig on Friday night got the ultimate '90s treat: Guest appearances from Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha and former A Tribe Called Quest ace Q-Tip.

RTJ, the hip-hop duo consisting of Killer Mike and El-P, brought out de la Rocha for their collaborative tune "Close Your Eyes (And Count to F*ck)."

The anger-filled emcee brought some extra life to the cavernous setting with his #fire verse, ending in a emphatic "F*CK THA SLOW MO!"

After that, White had a show to play, and he brought on New York City native Q-Tip for the back half of "That Black Bat Licorice" before launching into Tribe's 1991 jam "Excursions."

Here's the tape:

Tip was recently in the news for the lengthy Twitter history lesson he decided to give Iggy Azalea, free of charge.

Among the several tweets he sent were these four, which touched a nerve with Azalea:

hiphop now was FOR EVERYBODY!! All of those who cld relate to the roots, the spirit, the history, the energy.. It reached YOU

it touched your spirit n took u up. We magnetized you! That's what BRILLANCE does

now u are fulfilling your dreams ... BUT!

you have to take into account the HISTORY as you move underneath the banner of hiphop.

The Australian rapper promptly responded, "They don't say that stuff about Macklemore. So, yes, I think it has 100,000 percent to do with the fact that I have a vagina."

To her credit, Azalea has been mostly beef-free in 2015 after a tumultuous 2014. Maybe Jack White will bring her out onstage when he finally schedules a Sydney gig.
