Mariah Carey has had a tough go of things lately. A video has surfaced, much to the chagrin of Mariah Carey's camp, of the "Touch My Body" singer lip-syncing some of her biggest hits ("Fantasy" and "Always By My Baby") at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival this past Friday night Jan. 30. It is even more painful to watch because she is clearly missing her cues and seemingly forgets the words to some of her biggest songs, making it even more obvious and embarrassing. The last 3 months have not been kind to Carey personally and professionally as she is currently fighting a lengthy and public divorce battle with Nick Cannon. When she kicked off her Elusive Chanteuse tour in Tokyo last October, her equipment failed and then reportedly her voiced failed. The celebrated R&B singer sang for the Christmas tree lighting outside of the Rockefeller Center and many fans were not impressed with her performance.
This has not deterred Mariah from pursuing more shows in 2015. She announced a residency at the Colosseum in the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas that will earn her a rumored $475,000 per show. See the full list of dates below if you want to see Carey redeem herself.
