Australian singer, producer and DJ Allison Wonderland has shared the music video for the third single from her upcoming debut artist album Run. The track "U Don't Know" features the haunting call and response style, harmonizing vocals of Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne who blends right in with Wonderland's eerie, reverberated vocals.
The video visualizes a twisted relationship between a woman portrayed by Allison Wonderland and her boyfriend or male counterpart of some sort played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse as they take turns tying each other up and chasing after them in the woods. Watch the video below.
"I am really proud of this video," Wonderland said to Spin. "It's crazy to see a concept I had in my mind come to life, [and I'm] also stoked I got to act alongside a friend."
The LP Run, which will be released April 7, has features and production work from many different artists like Djemba Djemba, AWE, Cashmere Cat collaborator Lido and Ganz. The 12-track album is available for pre-order now through Astralwerks, who undoubtedly helped her get in contact with Wayne Coyne for the vocals and Mintz-Plasse to act in the video.
The "I Want U" DJ has a schedule of tour dates coming soon in North America following the release of her debut LP that include stops in New York, Miami, Toronto and Coachella. See the full schedule below via a press release.
