Justin Bieber has delayed the release of his Journals.

The "All That Matters" singer was supposed to release his new album today (Monday, Dec. 16), marking the 11th week in a row Beliebers would be able to hear new music from the teen pop sensation. However, Bieber has now delayed the release of his album due to a last-minute change: one additional new track.

On Friday (Dec. 13), Bieber announced the new release date of Dec. 23 on his official Twitter account. Though the news of a whole seven day delay seems disappointing, his rabid fanbase will now get 16 songs instead of the planned 15.

"BIG NEWS!!! Wrote another smash this week! Want you to have it! Making it a Christmas gift and moving #journals to the 23rd! So... Monday 12.23 #journals #10days #16songs #newvideos," Bieber wrote in a series of multiple tweets.

In addition to his Music Mondays singles, new songs on Journals are: "One Life," "Backpack" (feat. Lil Wayne), "What's Hatnin'" (feat. Future), "Swap It Out" and "Memphis" (feat. Big Sean & Diplo).

The 16th has yet to receive an official title or symbolic single cover.

There is also no indication on what this means for the official rollout of Bieber's Journals. When he first announced the complete collection last week, the plan was to have the album exclusively available on iTunes until Jan. 2, 2014, when the final five singles would then be available for individual download and the record would receive an official physical release.

The release of Journals comes just two days before his second movie Believe is due out in theaters.
