    Justin Bieber didn't have the best 2013, and it seems like the teen idol's 2014 isn't off to a great start, either. Bieber's new album, "Journals," has failed to make a real mark on the UK album chart and even missed out on the Official Chart's Top 40 list.

    Justin Bieber is all ready to "Hold Tight" to his fans. The 20-year-old pop sensation dropped a new music video (very quietly) on New Year's Day for his "Journals" track and Music Mondays single "Hold Tight."

    Justin Bieber just dropped his latest studio album Journals today (Dec. 23) at midnight. Originally due out last Monday (Dec. 16), the teen idol delayed the album's release by seven days because he wanted to add a new song. Though that song, titled "Flatline," doesn't appear on the official version of Journals, it is available as a free download on iTunes right alongside that album.

    After a one week delay, Justin Bieber finally released his new album Journals Monday morning (Dec. 23) right at midnight. Though the "All That Matters" singer promised one new, unannounced song, the full set arrived with the originally planned 15 songs and three videos on iTunes. Following in the steps of his entire Music Mondays series, the five new tracks on "Journals" feature heavy R&B influences while each maintaining an original vibe.

    It hasn't actually been that long since Justin Bieber last released a new song (only eight days), but for Beliebers, it likely feels like forever. Earlier this week, the teen pop sensation announced that he has delayed the release of his new album Journals by one week, all thanks to an additional song. However, to thank his fans for being oh-so-patient, the Biebz has teased three of the six new songs from the album on his official Instagram account. "Swap It Out," "One Life" and "What's Hatinin'" (feat. Future) have all gotten the snippet treatment.

    On Monday (Dec. 9), which was supposed to be the last installation of Justin Bieber's Music Mondays series, the teen idol announced that there was even more music on the way. Bieber revealed that a full-length album entitled Journals will be released on Monday, Dec. 16, and will feature all the 10 previously released tracks and five new ones, featuring artists such as Lil Wayne and Future. Today (Dec. 12), Bieber revealed the five song titles as well as what rapper will guest on which song.
