Not to be outdone by his rap heavyweight counterparts, Rick Ross decided to get off the sidelines this weekend and join the NBA All-Star Game music festivities with a special mixtape from his label, Maybach Music Group. The tape features artists signed to the label, like Wale, Meek Mill, Stalley and others, while picking out tracks with his artists providing the features for the likes of Big Sean and Chris Brown.
The mixtape features all previously released material, but puts it in a nice bundle to listen to and could be a refresher for those who have not heard these tracks. MMG has not had a proper compilation since 2013, when the imprint released the third edition of its Self Made series, which had additions from Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana, Pusha T and others. A new compilation is expected to be released at some point in 2015.
