Prepare for the wedding of the century - Lady Gaga is going to be a married woman! Today (Feb. 16), after days of speculation the "Cheek to Cheek" singer announced that her longtime beau Taylor Kinney finally proposed to her on Valentine's Day, and she showed off her sparkling, heart-shaped ring on Instagram.
This morning Times Herald-Record executive editor Barry Lewis wrote a column for his newspaper, claiming that he had been at Gaga's father's restaurant Joanne Trattoria in Manhattan on Saturday (Feb. 14) when the pop star and her actor boyfriend entered the restaurant, announcing their engagement to Gaga's family.
The event was followed by Gaga showing off her engagement ring and her father offering up a champagne toast to the family and friends gathered in Kinney and Gaga's (real name Stefani Germanotta) honor.
Soon after the rumor was published online, Gaga confirmed the engagement on her Instagram, showing off a massive heart-shaped rock on her left ring finger.
"He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!" she captioned the sweet black and white photo, which shows her manicured hand in Kinney's.

Gaga and Kinney, who is best known for his work on the TV show Chicago Fire, have been dating for four years and lately engagement and even secret marriage rumors have been swirling around the stars - and now it's official.
Now we just can't wait to see the wedding dress!
