One of the U.K.'s largest electronic music festivals, SW4 has announced its 2015 Saturday headliners who will kick things off for the festival over bank holiday weekend Aug. 29 to 30. It will be backboned by U.K. electronic band Faithless, known for hits like "Insomnia" and "God Is a DJ." Faithless are celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2015 and have launched their 2.0 tour to celebrate. Additional names on the lineup include SW4 favorite Eric Prydz; Luciano; Dubfire, who comes with a special "live" set; Hot Since 82; Bakermat; and others.
The Dubfire live "Hybrid" show will be used at an assortment of festivals and special gigs over the course of 2015 and showcases a special, 360-degree, 2-D and 3-D spectacle that weaves together live audio and lighting, according to DJ Mag.
In addition to the already-announced names, SW4 is known for its showcases, and this year Saturday already has tallied one coming from Above & Beyond's label Anjunabeats. It is not certain whether or not the label head honchos will be there or if they will just let their talent like Mat Zo, Andrew Bayer, ilan Bluestone, Jason Ross and Boom Jinx shine on the stage alone.
More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, including the Sunday headliners and plenty more acts that will fill out the rest of the lineup on both days. Single-day and weekend pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 9 a.m.
