Taking Back Sunday frontman Adam Lazzara probably wishes he could take back his Sunday night (Feb. 15). Over the weekend, the "Cute Without an E" singer was pulled over and arrested for a DWI in his hometown of Charlotte.
According to Charlotte-Mugshots.com and Alternative Press, Lazzara was pulled over at 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, for running a red light. After the police pulled him over, they discovered that he was impaired and the Charlotten Mecklenberg Police Department booked him for a DWI.
Lazzara was charged with a $2500 bond, which he paid and he is now free. He has a court appearance set for April 15.
The Valentine's Day arrest is not derailing Taking Back Sunday's 2015 plans, however. The band still kicked off its 2015 tour with letlive. and The Menzingers in New Orleans last night. The live trek, which is in support of Taking Back Sunday's 2014 album Happiness Is... will wrap up on April 4, just in time for Lazzara's court date.
