Willie Nelson and Allison Krauss will once again attempt to do a joint tour together, after last summer's plan fell apart following health concerns for the latter vocalist. The pair are back together for at least nine concert stops this summer. The shows will start out west in Montana and pretty much stay near the Pacific, with a majority of the dates taking place in California.

That's not nearly as many dates as last year's proposed joint tour, and no, Kacey Musgraves won't be serving as the opening act this time around either. Sometimes you just have to take what you can get. Last year's timing seemed apropos considering that Nelson had just released his duets album To All The Girls..., which featured the country icon duetting with a number of female costars. Krauss was one of his guests on that album and you can be sure she'll join him onstage for some duetting during the length of this short run together.

Krauss will, of course, be touring with her regular band Union Station. The lineup also lists "featuring Jerry Davis," but whether that means the lap steel guitar player will be joining Union Station, playing solo or both isn't clarified.

Here are the dates listed thus far:

06/17: Missoula, MT @ Ogren Park at Allegiance Field

06/19: Nampa, ID @ Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater

06/20: Salt Lake City @ USANA Amphitheatre

06/25: Bend, OR @ Les Schwab Amphitheater

07/18: Los Angeles @ Greek Theatre

07/19: Costa Mesa, CA @ The Pacific Amphitheatre at OC Fair

07/21: Paso Robles, CA @ Vina Robles Amphitheatre

07/22: Santa Barbara, CA @ Santa Barbara Bowl

07/23: Berkeley, CA @ Greek Theatre

Rolling Stone notes that Nelson will be releasing his autobigoraphy later this year in May, titled It's A Long Story: My Life.
