It's been a rough week for Demi Lovato. Yesterday (Feb. 24), the "Really Don't Care" singer was hospitalized after she had difficulty breathing.

According to TMZ, Lovato had a friend take her to the emergency room at Providence Tarzana Medical Center on Tuesday after she was having a hard time breathing. Lucky for the 22-year-old, the issues were a lung infection that was flu-related.

She was given medicine, including a Z-pack, and sent back home. Her representative Patrick Confrey told USA Today that Lovato "returned home soon after her ER visit and is feeling much better today."

Despite Lovato's current wellbeing, her dedicated Lovatics fans are worried about her, taking to Twitter to wish her better, using the logical hashtag #GetWellSoonDemi.

The illness timing comes at a bad time for Lovato - she's currently working on her new album, a follow-up to her 2013 record DEMI.
