It has been a minute since we have seen Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. The last time we discussed them it was in reference to their almost tragic reality show True Tori. In it, Spelling spent the majority of the time punishing McDermott on camera for the affair he had. We also learned that when it comes to parenting, she is pretty overprotective and McDermott seems to be far more at ease with their four kids. That being said, their latest family outing might register as the celebrity parenting fail of the week. On Saturday night, Feb. 28, Spelling, McDermott and their two oldest children, Liam and Stella, were spotted at the Staples Center for the UFC fight between Rhonda Rousey and Cat Zingana. That's right: Apparently these two think it is appropriate to bring 6- and 7-year-old children to a cage fight!

That is a pretty big jump from the DIY Oscar party Spelling threw with her kids two weekends ago when they all got crafty before settling in to watch the awards show with bowls of popcorn.

Spelling has been known to call the paparazzi for photo opportunities -- like just the other day, when she was photographed teaching Stella how to ride a bike. Everything seems to be intended to give off the impression that they are totally united as a family, so who do you think thought it was a good idea to take small children to a violent cage fight?

As for the couple themselves, McDermott confirmed months ago that he is finished with True Tori because he now thinks it is counterproductive to air every detail of their dirty laundry to the general public. Spelling has said she wants to continue to tell her personal story.

Are you hoping the show gets picked up for another season? In the meantime, what are your thoughts on these two taking their kids to a UFC match? Tell us in the comments section below.
