Lady Gaga is having a moment, and Taylor Swift has taken notice. Gaga recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney, performed a breathtaking tribute to The Sound of Music at the Oscars, is set to star in the next season of American Horror Story, and is working on a new music.
Swift posted a message of admiration for her fellow pop star on Twitter, writing, "Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?!? #goals."
Gaga responded to Swift with her own words of encouragement.
"@taylorswift13 wow you're a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come!" she wrote, topping off her message with a kiss emoji.
Those reassuring words come recently after Swift made comments about her current and future love life.
"I'll be 30. I'll probably still be single, let's be honest," she recently told The Telegraph. "No one's going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it. Like, 'Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do!' I don't know what's going to happen if I'm ever content in a relationship - no idea how that's going to work. I don't even know if that's possible with the life I have. I used to think it was important to find a boyfriend. But I don't feel that it is now. I just want to have as much fun and as many adventures as possible."
Gaga appears to be proof that you CAN have it all and not end up an old lady "surrounded by cats. So many cats, they've divided themselves up into armies" while she "wanders around lint-rolling the couch that no one's going to sit on."
How about a collaboration, ladies? That's something we'd sure like to see!
