Deorro's 2014 single, "Five Hours," just got a pop makeover. Originally signed and released on Avicii's label, Le7els, "Five Hours" has been resigned on American label, Ultra Records and given a radio-ready pop vocal from mega-star Chris Brown, changing the title to "Five More Hours."

The wonky, pitched up synths and bouncy bass line from Deorro are toned back a little to make room for Chris Brown's playful verses on partying and having a good time. Stream the track below on Ultra Records's soundcloud page and purchase it on iTunes.

This collaboration seems a bit forced, but it does come together a bit better than one might have expected. Fans who are dismissing it on face value as ruining the original should reexamine "Five More Hours" for what it is -- a pop song. This should help Deorro get some radio play and open up his discography to a new group of fans.

This is the second vocal mix of "Five Hours," following up the female vocal edit from DyCy.

The pairing of these two may seem entirely unlikely -- and it is -- an American electro-house ghost producer (who goes under the moniker Tonic) turned producer and a DJ named Deorro, who incorporated Melbourne bounce into his music, working with one of the biggest R&B/pop acts in the world probably wasn't something you predicted heading into 2015.

This is not Chris Brown's first foray into this type of a song. While he has been known for his own hip-hop, R&B and pop beats, Breezy has been known to use a few straight EDM beats from time to time. He was tabbed by David Guetta to sing on the Nothing but the Beat single, "I Can Only Imagine."

More notably, he was tabbed by Benny Benassi on "Beautiful People," which became a radio hit at the time.
