Kaskade has shared his remix of Late Night Alumni's recently released single, "The This This." Kaskade returns to his roots in more ways than one with this remix as a satellite member of Late Night Alumni and with the same subdued, housey sound that was heard in his earlier albums like It's You, It's Me.

The remix is available for download now as a bonus track on Late Night Alumni's upcoming album, Eclipse, that is being released through Kaskade's newly formed label, Arkade. The rework keeps the guitar melody from the original, but adds a Redux-equipped feel that will make early Kaskade fans with some soft chords and easy-going bass. Stream the remix on Kaskade's soundcloud.

Becky Jean Williams and John Hancock, better known as Late Night Alumni, commented on what the artistic direction they were going for with their fifth artist album.

"The album 'Eclipse' was inspired by the duality of human nature. We can't be defined. We are how we see ourselves and we are the someone that everyone sees. We are cycles of change. We are idiosyncrasies and nuances. We are no one thing. No man is an island, but every man, an eclipse."

When you pre-order the LP on iTunes, you will receive the remix as a free download. Eclipse will be released June 2 on Arkade.

In addition to the Kaskade remix, Late Night Alumni have released the music video for "The This This," which follows the pair as they meditate everywhere from a serene beach to right next to a dumpster. Watch the video below.
