It's been 11 years since Shania Twain toured North America, but this summer, she's heading out on the road for one last hurrah. Today (March 4), the "You're Still the One" singer announced that she will be embarking on her farewell Rock This Country Tour, beginning this June.
Twain announced her tour on Good Morning America, calling the trek one last party before she hangs up her cowgirl hat. "This is a very, very important time on the road for me," Twain said. "I just feel like I'm ready to hang my hat up in that regard. I just really want to go out with a bang."
The live dates, which begin June 5 in Seattle, will cross the United States and Canada. It will be the first time Twain has toured the U.S. in 11 years. She's recently ben a major live presence, however, just ending a two-year residency in Las Vegas, which spawned a live CD and DVD.
