Count me among those who worship at the altar of indie rocker Ryan Adams. He is quite simply one of the best when it comes to doing an amazing cover of classic songs. From Oasis's "Wonderwall" to Alice in Chains's "Down in a Hole" and so many in between, he never fails to impress. During a live show Tuesday, March 3, in Cork, Ireland, Adams and opening act Natalie Prass took on a classic from the soundtrack to 1980s classic Dirty Dancing. No, it wasn't "(I've Had) the Time of My Life," as you might expect, but instead leading man Patrick Swayze's song "She's Like the Wind." It was everything you could have hoped for and more.

Adams is riding the momentum from his fantastic 2014 self-titled album and is hot on the festival circuit, with appearances scheduled for Coachella, Jazz Fest, Governor's Ball and a number of others in between.

Prass's year is off to a great start as well. After touring as a member of Jenny Lewis's band last year -- which is perhaps where she became acquainted with Adams as part of their co-headlining tour -- she has released her debut, full-length album to high praise from around the net.

As great as the chemistry that Ryan Adams and Jenny Lewis had on tour together last year -- and in the studio for the making of Lewis's critically acclaimed 2014 album The Voyager -- Adams and Prass seem to be getting on together quite similarly.

The two continue touring Europe in March and will return to the States together in May. Prass will be at Austin's South by Southwest -- aka SXSW -- playing a variety of showcases in mid-March. You can also check her out at Coachella as a member of Lewis's band, and -- who knows? -- maybe Adams will play guitar during that set as he was known to do during their co-headlining tour.
