Despite heating up the charts with his latest x single "Thinking Out Loud," Ed Sheeran star isn't necessarily the most conventionally attractive pop star out there. And even some of his biggest fans know it. Over the weekend, Sheeran shared a snapshot of a letter from one South Korean fan on Instagram, who took the time out to note that they love the 24-year-old Brit despite the fact that he's "a little ugly."
The piece of self-deprecating humor comes via Sheeran's Instagram. Sheeran shared a note from Lee Jaung In, a fan who gifted Sheeran a shirt for his upcoming 2015 tour.
The note reads:
"To Ed Sheeran (my great singer)
I hope you love the shirt.
You are little ugly but I love you!
Please wear this shirt and get some
2015 concert tour!
from: Lee Jaung In
(your fan)"
Talk about a backhanded compliment!
Sheeran seemed to take the note in stride, captioning the photo "God bless Korea."
The post comes ahead of Sheeran's x Tour, which is set to kick off May 2 in New Orleans.
