In a new interview with Tavi's Rookie Magazine, Lorde and teen entrepreneur Tavi discussed a wide variety of topics, including feminism, fame and the backlash to her hit song "Royals." Among the intelligent conversation between the two young women, Lorde also spilled her run-ins with some fellow musicians who happen to love her stuff. The person who seemed most happy to meet her? None other than David Bowie.

Yes, Lorde can't just count millions of Americans as her fans, the "Royals" singer can also notch Ziggy Stardust himself, David Bowie, as one of them.

After Tavi asked Lorde if there was a moment where her life felt like it had come "full circle," Lorde admitted meeting Bowie was one of those moments.

"To have someone like that tell you that listening to you felt like listening to tomorrow... I was like, I could creatively die and just be happy forever," she said.

Not only did Bowie do that, he also shared another special moment with Lorde. "It was super cute, though - for some reason we were holding hands and just starting into each other's eyes and talking, and I was like, 'This is David Bowie's hand, what am I doing?' It was insane. A beautiful moment," she said.

Bowie isn't the only musician who's become a fan of Lorde in the last year. She can also count festival tourmate Win Butler (of Arcade Fire) amongst her supporters.

For every musician that loves Lorde, she loves another in return. In the Rookie interview, she lists Kanye West, Arcade Fire, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé as musical inspirations and even admitted that she was a total "fangirl" over these acts.
