Teresa Giudice has already lost more than a year of freedom after pleading guilty to felony tax evasion, and now it looks like she definitely will not be returning to the mansion she once called home upon her release from prison. Several sources are now confirming that Joe Giudice has officially stopped making payments on the gaudy Towaco Lake, New Jersey, home his family has lived in for the last few years. The Giudices owe the government a massive amount of money in restitution, and since those checks from RHONJ are at the least on hold for another year, the mortgage is no longer a priority. It will go into foreclosure.
The house was initially listed on the market last year for $2.99 million and after there was no real interest in it they slashed the price by $500,000, hoping it would then entice a buyer. Since there are still no takers, Joe has officially taken the house off the market and is now letting it fall into foreclosure. While he is currently residing on the property with his four daughters, they will likely need to start looking for another, smaller home relatively soon.
This is the second hit that Teresa has taken in as many weeks. The other day we told you about rumors swirling around Joe allegedly having a steamy affair with a younger blonde. While he has denied any shady behavior, Joe is known for his denials turning into lies intended to cover his own bad behavior.
