Now that Kendrick Lamar's new album To Pimp A Butterfly has been released to the masses, his label TDE can focus on pushing another one of their great artists, Jay Rock. The Watts rapper has kept mostly silent about details surrounding his long-awaited follow up to 2011's Follow Me Home. He's already released two singles for the effort, "Parental Advisory" and "Pay For It" featuring Lamar, which they performed together during Lamar's appearance on SNL last year. The two of them also shared a behind-the-scenes video for the song last week, sponsored by Beats. Now TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith promises once more that Jay Rock's album is on its way next.

On Saturday night, took to Twitter to hype Lamar's album and give an update on Rock's album, posting a series of tweets including a screenshot of the album's folder.

He added, "theres your jay rock updated....now lets get back to T.P.A.B and my goal for this album .. y'all tell me what my goal is ?#TDE."

Last September, Tech N9ne revealed that Rock had left his Strange Music imprint and is now exclusively signed to TDE.

In addition to an album, Rock also promised a TDE World Tour for 2015 in an interview with XXL last year, which would presumably include performances from Lamar, Rock, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Schoolboy Q, and Ab-Soul.

"Be on the look-out for us to come to a city near you," Jay Rock told the magazine. "I think we got a big tour being planned for next year. I don't really want to talk too much because I'm not sure of the specifics but be on the look out. TDE is coming to a town near you soon, world tour."

In December, Rock wrote on Twitter that he was "2 songs away from being done," so hopefully we'll be hearing more detailed news of an album release soon.
