    Now that Kendrick Lamar's new album To Pimp A Butterfly has been released to the masses, his label TDE can focus on pushing another one of their great artists, Jay Rock. The Watts rapper has kept mostly silent about details surrounding his long-awaited follow up to 2011's Follow Me Home. He's already released two singles for the effort, "Parental Advisory" and "Pay For It" featuring Lamar, which they performed together during Lamar's appearance on SNL last year. The two of them also shared a behind-the-scenes video for the song last week, sponsored by Beats. Now TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith promises once more that Jay Rock's album is on its way next.

    Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) is giving back this holiday season with the gift of music (and more)! The label — home to Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SZA, and Isaiah Rashad — has partnered with Nickerson Garden Projects to donate toys, shoes, and more along with a free concert today (Dec. 23) starting at noon. The even is free and open to the public, so if you're in the Los Angeles area, head there between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.

    Jay Rock is prepping for his time in the TDE release spotlight. Today he put out the video for "Parental Advisory," the first single, which he debuted last month, off his forthcoming album. The video features the Watts (L.A.) rapper in front of a house while his crew works out in the front lawn. It also cuts to footage that takes viewers on a tour of the city including spots like Watts Towers and Nickerson Gardens. The treatment alternates between color and black and white.
