Vampire Weekend have gotten classy. After winning over critics and fans with its widely acclaimed third album Modern Vampires of the City, the indie rockers are now looking to win over some hearts. As a part of the Starbucks compilation album Sweetheart 2014, Vampire Weekend debuted its cover song "Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro)" today (Jan. 7) at Rolling Stone.

Originally performed by famous adult contemporary tenor Andrea Bocelli, Vampire Weekend gave the Italian track a modern reggae spin for its cover version as well as a slightly upped tempo.

Replacing orchestral string arrangements with piano, smooth drums and electronic instrumentation gives the gorgeous contemporary classical hit a modern spin. Vampire Weekend maintain some of the original ethereal music of the original, choosing not to pull away completely from the source material.

The result is just as touching as the original, albeit with a little more funk.
